U-Boat Worx offers new applicants for the function of allround mechanic the opportunity to travel to Sub Center Curaçao, the training facility of U-Boat Worx. There they will receive a pilot training course in the C-Explorer 5 submersible.
To meet the growing demand of manned submersibles, U-Boat Worx has a great need for technically trained personnel. Which are not easy to find and that is why the company has taken a new path in terms of recruitment. The company offers new allround mechanics an additional incentive: a free submersible pilot course after they have been in service for six months.
At the U-Boat Worx Sub Center on Curaçao there is a five-person C-Explorer 5 submarine ready for use, which is normally used for demonstrations and training of own and external pilots. During their training up to a depth of 200 meters, the mechanics will explore the beautiful coral and a number of beautiful wrecks in crystal clear water. After the training course of about two weeks, the mechanics can get back to work in the factory in Breda, but they can also choose to be sent as a submarine pilot to one of U-Boat Worx’s many customers.
